Obituary of Eva Ruiz

EVA ESPINOZA RUIZ MCALLEN - Eva Espinoza Ruiz, 85, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, September 17, 2016, in Austin, Texas surrounded by her family. Born in Edinburg to Eliseo and Guadalupe Espinoza she had lived in McAllen most of her life. Mrs. Ruiz is preceded in death by her husband Mario Piedad Ruiz; a son Jesus Arnoldo Ruiz; three brothers, Vidal M., Ramiro E. and Esteban C. Espinoza; three sisters, Enriqueta Espinoza, Rosa Lopez, and Andrea Guzman. Mrs. Ruiz is survived by four sons, Juan A. (Guadalupe) Ruiz, Mario P. Ruiz, Xavier (Dalila) Ruiz, Jose Roel Ruiz and Rodolfo (Aneyda) Ruiz; a daughter, Magda Y. Ruiz; three sisters, Elena Gimenez, Eliza Sanchez, and Maria Leach; two brothers, Adan and Felipe Espinoza; eleven grandchildren, Melissa Chavez, Christina Cappuccino, Amy Ruiz, John Ruiz, Arnold Ruiz, Cynthia Ruiz, Abel Ruiz, Abram Ruiz, Carmen Ruiz, Rodolfo Ruiz Jr. and Jessica Ruiz; five great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Victoria, Bryanna, Alec, and Cariana "her little best friend". Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, Friday, September 23, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
