ROBERTO "DON BETO" MARTINEZ
EDINBURG - Roberto "Don Beto" Martinez, 73, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, August 23, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Pueblito De Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico and formerly of San Antonio he had lived in Edinburg for the past four years. Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents, Silvano and Esperanza Martinez; a sister, Rita Martinez; a brother Tiburcio Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife Paula Martinez; three daughters, Belinda (Daniel) Iturralde, Jackie (Javier) Davila and Sherlin (Eloy) Estrada; ten grandchildren; a brother, Jose Rocha; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
