Obituary of Roberto Alejandro Guzman

Edinburg Roberto Alejandro Guzman, age 51 lost his courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 17, 2012 surrounded by his caring and devoted family at the Comfort House in McAllen, Texas. Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Luis Guzman, Sr., and Felicitas Reyes Guzman and a brother Jose Angel Guzman. Roberto was born on September 14, 1961 in Quanah, Texas and currently resided in Edinburg. He was a 1981 graduate of Sharyland High School. He is survived by his brothers; Jose Luis Guzman, Jr., Jose Baldemar (Angie), Jose Maria (Lupita), Jose Angel, Jose Julian (Nila), his sisters; Aurora Garza (Ray), Alma Cortina (Octavio), Linda Castillo (Armando), and Rosalinda Guzman. The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, Dr. Ghanem Daghestani, Dr. Fausto Mesa, Dr. Jorge Lozano along with their hospital staff and a special Thank You to the personnel at the Comfort House in McAllen. A Rosary will be held four o'clock in the afternoon today, December 18, 2012 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., Edinburg, Texas. (956) 618-5900. Cremation will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Comfort House, 617 West Dallas in McAllen. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg, Texas.
