VIDAL RICO SR.
HARLINGEN - Vidal Rico Sr, 85, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico. Born in Tarimoro, Guanajuato, Mexico and formerly of East Los Angeles, California Mr. Rico had lived in Harlingen for the past five years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josefina Rico; his parents, Esteban and Marcelina Rico; two brothers, Benedicto and Leon Rico; two sisters, Maria Rico and Elvira Medrano.
Mr. Rico is survived by his four children, Jorge Rico Sr, Rosa Elia (Arturo) Garcia, Vidal (Maria Alba ) Rico Jr., Manuel Esteban (Sandra) Rico; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Jose Luis and Hector Rico; five sisters, Guadalupe Alonzo , Maria Del Carmen Hinojosa, Gloria Ramos, Maria De La Luz Gomez and Alma Delia Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 pm rosary, Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen.
Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
