Obituary of Juan Villarreal

JUAN "TIO JUAN" VILLARREAL JR. MCALLEN - Juan "Tio Juan" Villarreal Jr., 77, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in San Antonio surrounded by his family. Mr. Villarreal was retired from Lance Inc with over 28 years of service and was manager at Taco Fiesta for 10 years. Juan was preceded in death by his son, Juan "Johnny" Villarreal III; his parents, Juan and Maria Villarreal Sr; three brothers, Fidel, Jose and Tomas Villarreal; two sisters, Ascencion Diaz and Rosa Lopez. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Estela V. Villarreal; two daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Alex) Arredondo and Christina "Christy" (Jessie) Flores; seven grandchildren; two great granddaughters; three brothers, Apolinar "Polo", Ambrosio "Chuy" and Felix "Guero" Villarreal; four sisters, Delfina "Fina" Acevedo, Lucia Lopez, Hortencia Abrego and Esperanza "Pera" Munoz; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions cam be made to KRGE 1290AM "Radio Vida" P.O. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
