ANTONIO GURROLA PHARR/LAS MILPAS - Antonio Gurrola, 61, went to be with our Lord, Friday, June 3, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico he had lived in Las Milpas most of his life. Mr. Gurrola was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Paula Gurrola. Mr. Gurrola is survived by his wife, Maria Magdalena Gurrola; eight children, Lydia (David Gonzalez) Gurrola, Blanca E. (Alejandro) Gurrola - Perez, Araceli Gurrola, Jose Antonio (Elda) Gurrola, Paula A. (Matthew J.) DePaola, Joel Eduardo (Zoraida) Gurrola, Lenette (Antonio Medina) Gurrola and Lizette (Ernesto) Gurrola - Martinez; 15 grandchildren; five brothers, Manuel, Alfredo, Jorge, Martin and Alvaro Gurrola; two sisters, Leticia Quintana and San Juana Martinez. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, June 6, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
