BENJAMIN S. CANTU
EDINBURG- Benjamin S. Cantu, 84, died, Saturday, May 28, 2016, in McAllen. Born in Doctor Coss, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Cantu is preceded in death by his wife Hortencia G. Gonzalez De Cantu; his parents, Santiago and Gumersinda Cantu.
Mr. Cantu is survived by his six children, Juan Jose (Eugenia) Cantu, Arnoldo (Cristanta) Cantu, Maria (Sergio) Morales, Benjamin (Guadalupe) Cantu Jr., Hortencia (Dionisio) Reyna and Elsa (Lucio) Lopez; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Rafael Cantu.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
