Dora Santoyo Hernandez Dora Santoyo Hernandez, 92, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at her residence in Pharr surrounded by her family. Born in Fort Worth and formerly of Big Springs, Texas she had lived in Pharr most of her life. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her husband, Jose F. Hernandez; three sons, Gilberto, Maurico and Rudy Hernandez; a daughter, Maria Argentina Hernandez. Mrs.Hernandez is survived by ten children; Jose Richardo Hernandez, Maria Irma (Victor) Carranza, Benny (Maria Luisa) Hernandez, Oralia (Eligo) De La Cruz, Gilberto (Eva) Hernandez, Adela (Fernando) Llanez, Maria Senaida (Joe) Juarez, Teresa H. (Luis) Rios, Dora Alicia Hernandez and Eugenio Hernandez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with 7pm rosary, Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10am, Monday, May 9, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
