MARTIN SALINAS SR.
EDINBURG - Martin Salinas Sr, 75, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by his family.
Martin was born in La Palmita, Los Aldamas, N.L., Mexico, but lived in Edinburg all of his life. He was an exceptional and hard working individual that displayed his work ethics through his loyalty and dedication to the group of people he worked for and supervised.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Elvira Salinas; a brother, Regino Salinas.
Mr. Salinas is survived by his four children, Martin (Aida) Salinas Jr., Rogelio Salinas, Noemi Salinas, and Belinda (Damian) Gonzalez, all of Edinburg; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Gilbert) Renteria, Martin Salinas III, Marcus Salinas, Nathaniel Duenas, Rogelio Salinas Jr., Ethan Gonzalez; four great grandchildren, Javier, Gilbert, Robert and Omar Renteria; a sister, Romana (Cruz) Ramos; a brother, Rene (Maria del Roble) Salinas; a sister-in-law Herminia Salinas; seven nieces and nephews, Nereida (Mario) Salinas, Regino (Monica) Salinas Jr., Karina (Luis) Garza, Cruz Ramos Jr., Carlos (Ana) Ramos, Rene Salinas Jr., and Isaac (Priscilla) Salinas
The family would like to thank Amara Hospice for the care given to our loved one.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service, Monday, April 4, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
