JOEL RODRIGUEZ JR. M.D.
MISSION - Dr. Joel Rodriguez Jr., 54, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Mission surrounded by his family. Born in Edinburg he lived in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico most of his life where he practiced Internal Medicine for over 26 years.
Dr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marisa Rodriguez; three children, Olga Mariana Rodriguez, Marisa Rodriguez and Joel Rodriguez III; his parents, Joel and Olga Nelly Rodriguez; two brothers, Dr. Jorge (Magda) Rodriguez and Dr. Jaime (Alicia) Rodriguez; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 10am to 6pm Friday, April 1, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10am Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Iglesia Bautista Getsemani in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
