MARIA M. GONZALEZ PHARR - Maria M. Gonzalez, 89, went to be with our Lord, Monday, March 28, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Mexico she had lived in Pharr most of her life. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband, Wally G. Gonzalez; her parents Martin and Basilia Aguilar; two brothers, Manuel and Jose Aguilar; a brother-in-law Nino (Lala) Gonzalez. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her six children; Miroslava Salinas, Alicia (Daniel) Valdez, Gloria Gonzalez, Jessie (Letty) Gonzalez, Edward Gonzalez and Herman Gonzalez; a brother, Juan Aguilar; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Fannie (Leo) Guzman; a brother-in-law Johnny Gonzalez. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, March 31, 2016, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg
