JOSE "JOE" E. RUIZ
PALMVIEW - Jose "Joe" E. Ruiz, 60, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, March 20, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Mexico he had lived in Palmview most of his life. He was founder of Joe Ruiz Income Tax Service in Palmview. He enjoyed working and spending quality time with his family. Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria De Jesus Ruiz; three sisters, San Juanita Ruiz Salas, Maria Estefana Ruiz and Maria Dolores Ruiz; two brothers, Hilario and Jose Luis Ruiz.
Mr. Ruiz is survived by wife O. Veronica Hernandez; six children, Juan Esteban (Yoli) Ruiz, Emanuel Ruiz, Priscilla (Carlos) Reyna, Claudia C. (Rudy) Castillo, Jorge A. Ruiz and Jose Esteban Ruiz Jr.; seven grandchildren, Marayah, Carlos, Christian, Sebastian, Ariel, Esteban and Makaylah; four brothers, Guadalupe, Jesus, Eulogio and Martin Ruiz; four sisters, Lucia Loredo, Virginia Ruiz, Maria Cruz Ruiz and Irene Ruiz; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm with a 7pm Celebration of Life service Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
