Mario Eloy Anzaldua
McAllen - Mario Eloy Anzaldua, 80, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Donna and formerly of Hubert, North Carolina and had lived McAllen for the past 18 years. Mr. Anzaldua proudly served his country with over 20 years of faithful service including four tours in Vietnam while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Once a Marine Always a Marine "Semper Fi"
Mr. Anzaldua is survived by his wife, Alice Anzaldua; eight children; Mario E. (Beverly J.) Anzaldua, Ricardo Anzaldua, Rose Guerra, Margaret Salas, Elizabeth Anzaldua, Barbara (Jeff) Marklin, Mark (Sharron) Grimes and William (Donna) Grimes; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita Martinez, Delia Guzman, Bertha Rollins and Janie Morales; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 6pm with a 5pm chapel service, Friday, March 4, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
