Melissa P. Hernandez 39, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. Surrounded by her family and spiritual brothers and sisters. Born in Pharr, TX. Melissa was a sweet caring mother, daughter, sister and great friend. She had a very strong faith and served in the full time ministry as a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Melissa will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Melissa is survived by her husband Carlos E. Hernandez; 2 daughters, Kristal Covarrubia and Karla Hernandez; 2 sons, Jerry & Matthew J. Hernandez; Daughter of Guadalupe Peralez and Rachel L. Lopez; Step-parents, Jose A. Lopez and Maria G. Peralez; 1 brother, Guadalupe Peralez, Jr.; 3 sisters, Veronica Villanueva, Laura L. Poa and Michelle Lopez; 5 step brothers and sisters, Monica E. Rodriguez, Diana E. Rodriguez, Lucy Hernandez, Jose A. Lopez and Norma Patricia Jones; In laws, Jose A. Hernandez (deceased) Blanca R. Lozano; Brother in laws, William R. Hernandez, Nelson E. Hernandez and Blanca I. Hernandez; 23 nephews and nieces.
