ELOISA PETRA PARRAS
EDINBURG- Eloisa Petra Parras, 91, went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Parras was preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio Lara and Manuela Herrera; two brothers, Juan Herrera and Francisco Ortega; sister, Maria Cid.
Mrs. Parras is survived by her husband, Francisco Parras Jr.; seven children, Johnny (Leticia Magallan) Parras, Alma (Ruben) Luna, Cindy Parras, Sylvia P. (Roger) Salinas, Yvette (Victor Diaz) Parras, Mario (Delia) Parras and Norma (Robert) Garcia; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maria Apolonia Mejia, Yolanda Hernandez and Josefina Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Pallbearers will be Sonny Luna, Renee Luna, Joaquin Chavez, Justin Gomez, Jaycob Gomez, Bobby Garcia, Eric Casarez and Vinny Gomez.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
