ARTEMIO MARTINEZ
EDINBURG - Artemio Martinez, 70, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Martinez two brothers, Arturo Martinez and Juan Ramon Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his sons, Jose Alfredo Martinez and Thomas Enrique Martinez; three grandchildren, Marissa, Makayla and Ryan Thomas Martinez; five siblings, Bertha (John) Borgas, Jose Francisco (Juanita) Martinez, Oralia Herrera, Ruben (Nancy) Martinez and Jesus (Paula) Martinez Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Living Word Evangelical Free Church 5208 North Jackson Road in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
