MARGARITA SANCHEZ
EDINBURG - Our beloved mother, Margarita Sanchez was born on June 10, 1924 and entered eternal rest in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the age of 98. Mrs. Sanchez is preceded in death by her parents, Cristobal and Susana Q. Briones; her husband, Herculano Sanchez; her 5 brothers, Julio, Camilo, Lino, Severiano, and Prudencio Briones; her 2 sisters, Anita and Felicitas Briones.
Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her children, Velia B. Sanchez, Eloy (Angie) Sanchez, Reynaldo (Maria) Sanchez, Elma (David) Gonzales, Rosalva Sanchez and Osvaldo Sanchez; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; numerous family and friends.
Mrs. Sanchez will always be remembered for her unconditional love through out the lives of all of her loved ones who hold great memories and experiences with her.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment to be followed to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels.
