MARIA CANTU
EDINBURG - Maria Cantu, 77, entered eternal rest Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Edinburg. Mrs. Cantu is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Cantu; her parents, Luis Diaz and Virginia Palacios; her sister, Bertha Alicia Lozano.
Mrs. Cantu is survived by her 3 children, Alberto Benjamin (Claudia) Cantu, Joe (Maribel) Cantu, and Ivan Cantu; 8 siblings, Genara Diaz, Jose Luis Palacios, San Juana Zarate, Antonio Palacios, Virginia Sanchez, Jesus Palacios, Alfredo Diaz, and Nora Sahagun; 4 grandchildren, Alberto Benjamin Cantu Jr., Michael Ivan Cantu, Ayleen Carolina Cantu and Anahi Nicole Cantu; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a 1 p.m. chapel service at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment to be followed to The Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels.
