When I first met you, Leo and I were dating in high school and Leo intoduced me to you as his Tio. He told me "you can call me Tio too if you'd like." Ever since that day I've always called him Tio. He wasn't just a Tio to me he was many more, he was my shoulder to cry on when a couple of months ago were down fall for me he was like a father to me as well as his brother Pete. Tio always had a joke to tell or some kind of funny story when he'd come back home.
There was a time where Leo , Tio , and I went into bestbuy and this was when he had a little phone that wasn't smart as he'd always say. Anyways so we were in bestbuy and he noticed a sign that said $1 for the new galaxy S 5. He told Lee-on (how Tio used to call Leo) is it true Lee-on, is it a dollar for a smart phone. So we went up to someone and they told us about the deal they had at Verizon, if you buy a new Galaxy s5 smartphone you get a $250 gift card for free. Tio hesitated for quite some time and of course Leo bought Tio's way into buying the phone. Tio did walk in with a little phone and walked out with his new galaxy s5 smartphone, a new galaxy s tablet, the newset smart watch . Even though Tio hated buying himself such items, it took him awhile to get used to having these items with him. He than realize what he can do with these items and took them EVERYWHERE with him. It's not the item he was excited for, he was excited that he got to watch YouTube on his truck.
Anyways Tio you taught so much that I'll never forget. You were the one that always told me to peruse my dreams despite the obstacles I had always coming my direction. You were my best friend that always LOVED to go to Victoria secret with me maybe it was because of the ladies on the walls but you never hated coming to the girly places I wanted to go. You were so patient with everything and everyone, sometimes. I'd remember you would always "Hey Vicky leave Leo here and me and you take a load up to New York and I'll show you around and experience what's outside of Texas." I'll always remember that invite, and maybe one day if God permits I'll visit NY and remember that's the place you'd always wanted to me go. I love you Tio Juan and I'll always remember the moments we shared together. See you again soon. -love Vicky Arguello Casas

I just wanted to say that I will always remember my cousin Juan! If it weren't for him I would not be here and alive today. When I was little and running around having fun like any kid would surrounded by family, I started choking on a lozenge! In a panic no one knew what to do! It was the most horrible feeling not being able to breathe! I remember almost passing out when someone came up from behind and performed the Heimlech maneuver. It was Juan! He saved my life and for that I will always be thankful and very grateful! Rest in peace cousin and I will see you again one day:)

I will always remember, you were the Tio that taught me how to ride a motorcycle. But the motorcycle wasn't a ordinary motorcycle, it was a pieced together dirt bike that you and Tio Pete worked on together. I remember you telling and showing me how to get going and how to stop NORMALLY, but with this dirt bike being pieced together, the dirt bike didn't have brakes! So you told me to "downshift and ride the clutch" and with me being young and super excited I said "ok". Next thing you know it I am flying up and down the street on a dirt bike with no brakes. Talk about being "Rebels".
Tio Juan, the memories that you and I have will always be treasured and valued. I miss you dearly and I pray you watch over and guide me down the right path as I travel the world to protect our loved ones back at home.
Love
Oscar Jose Casas III

Juan, you know how I feel. I thank YHWH for you and everything you taught me. Thank you for always standing by me with all my crazy thoughts and dreams. Thank you for accepting me the way that I am. Thank you for all that you taught your Tammy and Brini, they will miss you so. Thank you for being Rollie's hunting companion and everything else he needed you to be. We will cherish all the good times we had together. I hope you had the time of your life. I love you. -your baby sister
