Obituary of Consuelo Saenz

CONSUELO "CONNIE" SAENZ ALAMO- Consuelo Saenz, 77, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Mrs. Saenz was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Saenz; parents, Jesus and Sylvestra Rosalez; two brothers, Jesus Rosalez Jr. and Octaviano Rosalez. Mrs. Saenz is survived by five children, Rosalio Saenz, San Juanita (Angie) Saenz, Irene Saenz, Simon Saenz Jr. and Gabriel (Emilie) Saenz Sr.; eight grandchildren, Deborah (Mando) Martinez, Derek Gonzalez, Dustin (Alejandra)Gonzalez, Gabriel Saenz Jr., Gilbert Saenz, Gavin Saenz, Syrus Hernandez and Sebastian Hernandez; seven great-grandchildren, Nicolas Martinez, André Gonzalez, Tristan Gonzalez, Renae Gonzalez, Nevaeh Martinez, Nadelyn Martinez and Melinna Gonzalez; three sisters, Sofia Ruiz, Ernestina Mata and Aurora Lerma; four loving dogs, Bibi, Daisy, Camilo and Gordita; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Visitation will be follow from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Pallbearers are Gabriel Saenz Sr., Gabriel Saenz Jr., Gilbert Saenz, Derek Gonzalez, Sebastian Hernandez and Nicolas Martinez. Flower girls are Nevaeh Martinez and Nadelyn Martinez. A special thank you to all DHR medical staff, DHR hospice, and all others who have helped during this difficult time. Family encourages for everyone to wear white and purple attire during their service in memory of Consuelo Saenz. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. A Golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us. He only takes the best. Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
