I met Mario Padron when we were still in high school. He was a good friend of my brother Jake Rangel. He was such a sweet soul, always with a smile. He always had great things to say about people and his family. You will be missed Mario. Rest easy until we meet again. Give my brother Jake a big hug from me. I know that you are up there catching up on old times. My prayers go out to his family and friend is this time of Loss and Sadness.

My wife and I met Mr. Padron at the HEB on Trenton several years ago. He was one of the most honorable and nicest man I had ever met. Always cheerful and positive. He would call me "coach" because I mentioned to him that I had been a coach before retirement. He was so proud of his children and would mention his son that played ball at A&M. I always looked forward to seeing him and indulge in conversation when he had a little time off. A special place in Heaven awaits him.
