Obituary of Fernando De Hoyos

FERNANDO DE HOYOS Edinburg - Fernando "Nando" De Hoyos joined his savior on Saturday, June 11th, 2022. He was born in Laredo, Texas on November 10, 1971 as the youngest of eight siblings to Francisco & Paulita G. De Hoyos. He graduated from Nixon High School in 1990 and earned a degree in Political Science degree in 2000 from Texas A & M International University of Laredo, Texas. He moved to Edinburg Texas in 2003 where he worked as a substitute teacher for different school districts in Hidalgo County. He also worked for TJ Max and LYFT part time. Nando was a kind and gentle person who was loved by many. He was a beloved son, baby brother, cousin, uncle, and great uncle. He is preceded in death by father Francisco De Hoyos Jr., brother Mario Alberto De Hoyos, mother Paulita G. De Hoyos, and brother Alfonso De Hoyos. He is survived by brothers Francisco De Hoyos III, Jorge (Denise) De Hoyos, Jose Felipe De Hoyos, Salvador De Hoyos, sister Hilda (Jesus) G. Soto, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
