Obituary of Felipe Trevino

FELIPE M. TREVINO EDINBURG - Felipe M. Trevino, 93, went to be with our Lord Sunday, November 1, 2015, at his residence in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in San Marcos, Texas he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Francisca Trevino; four brothers, Genaro, Alfonzo, Romulo and Federico Trevino; three sisters, Angelica, Josefa and Rosa Trevino. Mr. Trevino enjoyed being involved with any kind of agriculture and worked as a Constable in Hidalgo County for over 15 years. He was a loving and caring individual who will be greatly missed by all who know him. Mr. Trevino is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Maria Guadalupe Trevino; thirteen children, Felipe (Lala) Trevino, Pedro (Cristina) Trevino, Anita (Juan) Salas, Ruben (Esmeralda) Trevino, Gloria (Rick) De La Cruz, Celia (Hilberto) Canales, Homero (Vina) Trevino, Rene (Gloria) Trevino, Estela (Rudy) Garcia, Ninfa (Agustin) Garcia, Yolanda (Guadalupe) Maldonado, Sulema Trevino and Roy (Ninfa) Trevino; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jose Trevino. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10am Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
