GEORGE CEPEDA EDINBURG - George Cepeda, 64, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Cepeda was preceded in death by his parents, Vidal and Esther Cepeda and three siblings. Mr. Cepeda is served by his wife, Dora Cepeda; eight children, Dora (Eliseo) Olmos, Jorge (Liliana) Cepeda, Reginaldo Cepeda, Emmanuel Cepeda, Marisol (Alfredo) Silva, Abelardo (Analy) Cepeda, Gabriela (Beatriz) Cepeda, and Alejandro Cepeda; twelve grandchildren and a great-grandson; six siblings, Enrique Cepeda, Gerardo Cepeda, Oscar Cepeda, Jesus Cepeda, Bertha Trevino, and Kathy Carrillo; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
