MARIA EVA CANTU
MCALLEN- Maria Eva Cantu, 95, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 15, 2022 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cantu was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Cantu; parents, Juan and Margarita Cisneros.
Mrs. Cantu is survived by five children, Blanca M. Vasquez, Alicia (Jose) Guerra, Juan M. (Minerva) Cantu, Rosa E. Cantu and Maria D. Cantu; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a 12 p.m. chapel service, Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
