JOSE CRUZ PINEDA JR.
SAN ANTONIO- Jose Cruz Pineda Jr. of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at the age of 52.
Joe or Jr as he was known by family and friends was passionate about reading, fishing, barbecuing for family and friends and Loved his country music.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances C. Pineda; parents, Jose Cruz Sr & Senaida Pineda; sister Esmeralda Pineda; nephew, Felix Joshua Bravo.
Joe is survived by his step-daughter, Vida Cavazos; 10 siblings, Noelia (Oscar) Salazar, Janie Ray, Rolando (Melba) Pineda, Yolanda (Oscar) Rangel, Jesus (Gloria) Pineda, Alfredo (Maria) Pineda, Sofia (Daniel) Trevino, Chris (Jaime) Muñoz, Rodolfo Pineda and Laura (Steven) Guillen; girlfriend; Macrina Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews; 4 special little ones that he adored and helped raise, Joseph "Champ", Jenna Love, JoeRyan, and Jo’Amber Celeste Rios.
His Final act of kindness was the gift of organ and tissue donation
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. celebration of life on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
