Obituary of Rita Ramirez

RITA RAMIREZ EDINBURG - Rita Ramirez, 56, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Our Beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend will be dearly missed and forever loved. Ms. Ramirez is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Angelita Ramirez; her siblings, Consuelo Farias and Raul Ramirez. Ms. Ramirez is survived by her five siblings, Reyes (Martha) Ramirez, Ruben Ramirez, Santa Limas Tijerina, Guadalupe Limas, and Elizabeth (Hugo) R. Gonzalez; five nieces and nephews, Arturo (Patricia) Tijerina Jr., Gloria (Mario) T. Cantu, Claudia Farias, Yolanda (Thomas) Zuniga, and Nicolas Ramirez; her great nieces and nephews, Kaylin, Jacob, Brandon, Ava, Miranda, and Mario Jr. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a 1 p.m. Chapel service on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Thomas Zuniga, Yolanda Zuniga, Arturo Tijerina Jr., Patricia Tijerina, Mario Cantu, and Gloria Cantu. Honorary pallbearers will be Claudia Farias, Kaylin Mercado, and Nicolas Ramirez. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
