DELFINA G. RODRIGUEZ PHARR - Delfina G. Rodriguez, 95, entered eternal sleep on Friday, February 25, 2022, in McAllen. Delfina was born in Linares, N.L., Mexico on May 15, 1926 to Feliciano Garcia and Romana Espinoza. Mrs. Rodriguez, was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Rodriguez; four children, Mina Paz, Jose Rodriguez, Minnie Rodriguez, and Johnny Rodriguez; her granddaughter, Flor Garcia; sons-in-law, Luis Gutierrez and Joe Mora; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Rodriguez; her parents; eight siblings, Jesus Garcia, Jose Garcia, Patricio Garcia, Maria Garcia, Maria De La Luz Garcia, Cristina Garcia, Genoveva Garcia, and Juan Garcia. Finita loved playing Chalupa, dancing, and making tamales with her family. Delfina will be greatly missed and for ever loved by all whom knew her. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her children, Lupino Rodriguez, Irma R. Gutierrez, Hilda R. Mora; her daughter-in-law, Loli Rodriguez; 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two siblings, Julia Garcia and Fernando Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Thursday March 3, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
