MARIA ELENA LOZANO MCALLEN — Maria Elena Lozano, 66, died Friday August 31, 2012, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Jalisco, Mexico she had lived in McAllen most of her life. Maria was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Flores and Sara Aldana and a brother Raul Flores. Mrs. Lozano is survived by her husband, Oscar C. Lozano of McAllen; two daughters, Patricia Ann Lozano and Gabriela Lozano-Alvarez both of McAllen; a son, Oscar G. Lozano of McAllen; 3 grandchildren, Robert Alvarez Jr., Alejandra Alvarez and Isaiah Aaron Garcia; a sister, Blanca De Leon of Monterrey N.L., Mexico; three brothers, Jose Flores, Francisco Flores and Sergio Flores all of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, September 2, 2012, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road, (956) 618-5900 in Edinburg. A live webcast of the rosary can be seen at www.legacychapelsrgv.com. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
