Obituary of Maria Lozano

MARIA ELENA LOZANO MCALLEN — Maria Elena Lozano, 66, died Friday August 31, 2012, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Jalisco, Mexico she had lived in McAllen most of her life. Maria was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Flores and Sara Aldana and a brother Raul Flores. Mrs. Lozano is survived by her husband, Oscar C. Lozano of McAllen; two daughters, Patricia Ann Lozano and Gabriela Lozano-Alvarez both of McAllen; a son, Oscar G. Lozano of McAllen; 3 grandchildren, Robert Alvarez Jr., Alejandra Alvarez and Isaiah Aaron Garcia; a sister, Blanca De Leon of Monterrey N.L., Mexico; three brothers, Jose Flores, Francisco Flores and Sergio Flores all of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, September 2, 2012, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road, (956) 618-5900 in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
