MARIA DEL CARMEN FRANCO
HIDALGO- Maria Del Carmen Franco, 90, went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Hidalgo surrounded by her family. Mrs. Franco was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente H. Franco; son, Juan R. Franco; grandson, Edgar Omar Monita Franco; mother, Praxedis Granados Mares.
Mrs. Franco is survived by three children, Rosalio Franco Mares, Obdulia (Lula) Franco and Maria del Socorro Franco; nine grandchildren, Juanita, Carmen, Virginia, Patricia, Rosalio (Leo), Eduardo Jr.,Ernesto (Brenda), Nydia (Luis) and Enrique (Gabriela); nine great-grandchildren, Hilario, Hanna, Hailey, Edgar, Alexa, Camila, Victoria, Adriana and Enriquito, Hilario Franco Rivera, Hanna Rivera Franco, Hailey Rivera Franco; two sisters, Rosa Castro Mares and Maria Cervantes Mares; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Hidalgo. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
