Sanders family,
I was one of the first graduates from Nikki Rowe in 1994. I don't remember many of my teachers there but Mr. Sanders is one of the few I do. He was one of my favorite teachers. His students lived him. He had a good impact on my life. He helped me deal with with some of the hardest moments in my life and let me write about it without sharing to others. I know he will be greatly missed. Your family is in my prayers. May God bless you.

Nora, Bruce will never be forgotten he will live on in our memories and heart. One memory that comes to mind was this last thanksgiving and Christmas. When I arrived at your house he was so happy to see me. I go over to him and gave him a big hug and he said “oh Olga I love you”. I told him I love you too. It was a family tradition for Nora and I to prepare the holiday meal. Bruce loved having family gatherings. He was so kind and generous and made me feel right at home. I love you Bruce you will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace!!

His compassionate and understanding character helped me get thru one of the most difficult times in my life.
He had a way of making you feel heard, understood and included. Thank you Bruce for helping me not take myself too seriously...how to take risks, have fun and live life in the moment.
If he could give me the shirt off his back just so that I could stand alittle taller, he would...and that's the Bruce I'll always remember! RIP ❤
Your sister in law,

When I think of Bruce I think of heart and confidence. Bruce was many times more than an uncle and more than a father to me growing up. When things needed to get done Bruce always had a way of getting it done. When we were locked out of our 2nd story apartment Bruce scaled up the downstairs neighbor’s fence, hopped over our balcony and kicked down the door. We got what we needed and went about our merry way. Bruce always knew how to find a way when it came to getting what his loved ones needed. I’m so grateful to carry a piece of that confidence with me. Thank you, Bruce. Thank you for instilling in me a confidence and love that only you exuded. Love you.

If you are lucky there a few people who come into your life that help you to feel seen, heard and loved. My Uncle Bruce was one of those people for my brother and I. I have many memories of Uncle Bruce coming to our rescue. In high school while my mother was sick, I failed a math course with a 69. Uncle Bruce would not have that and met with the school to make things right. I hope I honor his positive impact on my life by choosing a career to help others. Thank you Uncle Bruce you impacted my life more than you know.
