VIRGINIA S. PEREZ MCALLEN - Virginia S. Perez, 64, went to be with our Lord Wednesday August 19, 2015, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Mexico she had lived in McAllen most of her life and retired from H.E.B after 32 years of service. Virginia was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. She was loving and caring person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her son, Gilberto Perez; her parents Antonio and Virginia Saenz. Mrs. Perez is survived by her husband, David G. Carranza; two sons, Jaime (Jael) Perez and Mario (Brandie) Perez; two grandchildren, Diego and Iliana Perez; two brothers, Rene and Alejo Saenz. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, today, August 20, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10am Friday, August 21, 2015, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Pallbearers will be David Carranza, Jaime Perez, Mario Alberto Perez, Rene Saenz, Efrain Fuentes and Danny Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be Diego and Iliana Perez. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
