Janie, or Grandma as we called her, was a blessing to my class of Prek students and me. She was a volunteer and a second pair of eyes and hands. She was a willing friend to help in any way she could. My students respected her and went to her for help when my Teaching Assistants Mary Vela or Esmer Martinez or I were busy. We were able to have more activities because of her willingness to give that extra touch that we had no time to add. This may seem like a small thing but to a teacher of young children being able to send a child to get their shoes tied while you are teaching a whole group or a small group saves important time. Janie tied hundreds of shoe laces! I am so grateful that she trusted Christ for her eternity and that I will see her again. We will laugh again! Gloria, her daughter, left nothing to chance in her care for Janie. She was loved and given special treatment till the end. You can’t have it all in life but Grandma Romeros certainly had some….

Condolences to you, Gloria, and to you siblings and the rest of her family. I praise God she knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior! She is now in His kingdom alive and completely healed! One day she'll be reunited with all of her family but until then, I pray that God continues to comfort and strengthen you all.
