Obituary of Oscar Garcia

OSCAR GARCIA Edinburg - Oscar Garcia, 50, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 12, 2021, in Edinburg. Mr. Garcia was precede in death by his father, Valentin Garcia. Oscar was a great sports fan and loved soccer, especially his favorite team America. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking barbecue, listening to music is favorite song, "Mi Caballo Pobre" by Los Invasores. Oscar was a hard worker, a good Christian man helping build churches around his community, loved his horses and ranch life. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him. Mr. Garcia is survive by his wife, Griselda Garcia; his son, Ricardo Garcia; five grandchildren; his mother, Lidia Arango; three siblings, Marilu (Quaquin Luna) Arango, Yessica (Jose Martinez) Garcia, and Valentin (Avigail) Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, December 20, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
