Obituary of Leah Elizabeth Gonzalez

Please share a memory of Leah Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
McAllen, Texas Leah Elizabeth Gonzalez, 15, entered eternal rest Sunday December 5,2021. Leah was born November 9,2006. Leah Elizabeth Gonzalez loved Softball, Tennis, Golf, Dancing, skateboarding, playing her guitar, listening to country music and baking. Her baking was exceptional from amazing brownies to delicious cookies and our favorite Choco-flan cakes. She was the kitchen Diva and Troll, not letting anyone be in her baking space. She loved being outdoors, spending quality time with her nephew Aiden and Niece Renata, but most of all she loved her fur baby Thor. She loved participating in school events and showing school spirit. She was a just person who would always stand up for what was right and defend those who could not defend themselves. She would brighten any place she walked into and the lives of those around her. She was very loving to her friends, family and her best friend Katie Gonzalez who was like a sister to her. Her faith did not waiver and when called by the Holy Spirit to take action she would heed the call. She was a very sweet and beautiful young lady inside and out, an absolute treasure. Our sweet angel will be missed and the impact she left here on this earth and in our lives will be forever cherished. Leah attended Ben Milam elementary, Homer J. Morris Middle School and currently a freshman at McAllen High School. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she was Baptized & received her Holy Communion. She also attended San Juan Diego Church in preparation for her Confirmation.
