LUCIO "CHACHO" JIMENEZ III MCALLEN - Lucio “Chacho” Jiménez III was taken by our Heavenly Father to rest eternally on Monday, November 22,2021 in McAllen. Lucio was born on October 4, 1976 in McAllen Tx. Lucio graduated from Nikki Rowe High School Class of 1997. Our beloved son and brother lived life to the fullest he was an outgoing, fun and happy person. He always wanted to help others and be that friend/brother you can count on. His smile was contagious and embraced all those he encountered. Lucio had a loving spirit that shined bright into his family and friends. Lucio had a loving bond with his mother Imelda, they always cherished loving moments together watching novelas, game shows and having long conversation that will forever hold a special place in her heart. He was also a special brother to his two sisters who he always supported and loved. A wonderful uncle to his nephews and nieces he took very good care of them and loved to always talk and spend fun times with them. Lucio had a special bond with his long time love Lindsey who he adored and loved very much. He was a great pet daddy to his Snowy who he spend endless time with and loved so much. His pride and joy was playing pool eight/nine ball was his specialty. Lucio made great friends which he took pride in his friendship with all of them he called brotherhood. He enjoyed the game and always made it a point to make it to play or help cheer his friends on. He was Capitan and member of the APA pool association. He truly loved his Gaytan and Jiménez aunts, uncles and cousins, as he made it a point to let everyone know how special they were to him. Our beloved Lucio-Chacho as he was known for his childhood nickname will be dearly missed and loved for the rest of our lives. Lucio was in preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Juan N. Gaytan and Celsa Gaytan along with his paternal grandparents, Lucio Jiménez Sr and Guadalupe Rivera Jiménez, nephew Isaiah and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived his mother, Imelda Gaytan Jiménez; his father, Lucio Jiménez Jr.; sisters, Melissa(Joe) Trevino and Veronica (Joey DeLeon) Jiménez; his brother, Lucio (Irma) Jiménez; nieces Carissa, Zoé and Jennifer; his nephews, Nabor, Joey, Louie and Liam. The love of his life Lindsey Casey. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
