Raquel Flores, 64, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Solara Hospital in McAllen. Raquel was born in Mission, Texas August 31, 1957 to Magdaleno and Eustolia (Pecina) Lopez. She lived in McAllen for most of her life. Raquel enjoyed crossword puzzles, Sewing and baking.
Raquel was preceded in death by her husband; Ernesto Flores, her son Ernesto Flores, Jr.her daughter Dora Elia Flores; Her brother Rodolfo Lopez and Her sister Rosa Garza.
Raquel is survived by her beloved family; Her children Gerardo Flores, Nora Delia Flores, Maria Eustolia (Orlando Ramos) Flores, Raquel Flores (Edgar Cavazos), Imelda Flores (Isai Pena), Erik Flores (Orissa Ramos), Juan Angel Flores (Katia Flores), Jessica Flores (Juan Martinez), Jennifer Flores (Gerardo Vera); Her siblings Rebecca Vargas, Roberto Lopez; Her 27 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are being directed by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
