Obituary of Israel Morales

ISRAEL MORALES MCALLEN - Israel Morales, 81, entered eternal rest Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Flower Mound, Texas surrounded by his family. Mr. Morales was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Isabel Morales; his brother, Rogelio Morales. Mr. Morales graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was a certified Occupational Health and Safety Technologist with Zenith Electronics where he oversaw 17 plants. Israel was active at the McAllen Lark Community Center where he enjoyed playing dominos, his guitar, and was a lead member of The Golden Larks. Mr. Morales is survived by his wife, Aida Violeta Morales; two children, Edward Morales and Madeline Mokry; eight grandchildren, Edward Jr., Angelica, Adrian, Carolina, Cristian, Caden, Camryn, and Cayleigh; his great-grandson, Jace; eight siblings, Wilfredo Morales Rivera, Blanca Iris Morales Rivera, Miguel Enrique Morales Rivera, Margarita Morales Rivera, Gilberto Morales Rivera, Nilda Victoria Morales Rivera, Gloria Estel Morales Rivera, and Angel Luis Morales Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
