MARIA RAMOS EDINBURG - Maria Ramos, 76, entered eternal rest Friday, September 10, 2021, in Edinburg. Mrs. Ramos was preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Ramos; a great-grandson, Abraham Salinas; her parents, Carlos and Otila Sauceda; five siblings, Jose Luis Sauceda, Fidel Sauceda, Antonio Sauceda, Lidia Galvan, and Salomon Suaceda. Mrs. Ramos is survived by her eight children, Elva (Ramon) Rivera, Minerva (Fabian) Cervantes, Griselda (David) De Leon, Rodolfo (Nadia) Ramos, Coral (Andy) Fajardo, Esmeralda (Alberto) Reyes, Misael Ramos, and Ignacio (Leticia) Ramos Jr.,; 28 grandchildren, Ramon, Ismael, Paula, Eduardo, Fabian, Samuel, Arely, Damaris, Betania, David, Debrina, Rodolfo, Armando, Ignacio, Cielo, Ricardo, Karina, Victor, Daisy, Victoria, Ismael, Brianna, Brisa, Elizabeth, Lesly, Keyla, Cassandra, and Victorya; 22 great-grandchildren, Erick, Sophia, Geo, Gian Carlo, Ariam, Yaletsy, Aralyn, Caleb, Camila, Jazmin, Kayden, Adam, Abdiel, Genesis, Maddison, Ulises, Brandon, Melanie, Priscilla, Sofia, Oscar, and Bryan; three siblings, Blanca Elda Vargas, Moises Sauceda, and Carlos Sauceda; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, and visitation 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 noon Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
