MARIA G. RENDON ALAMO - Maria G. Rendon, 65, entered eternal rest Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Edinburg. Mrs. Rendon was preceded in death by her husband, Lino Rendon; her parents, Gregorio and Consuelo Velazquez; three siblings, Josefina Martinez, Gregorio Velazquez Jr., and Susana De Los Reyes. Mrs. Rendon is survived by her four children, Elizabeth Zavala, Juan M. (Maria) Guerra, Gabriel (Cynthia) Rendon, and Daniel (Eden) Rendon; five grandchildren, Juan Miguel, Marco, Miranda, Andrea, and Gabriela; four siblings, Mario Velazquez, Marisa Martinez, Rosa Martinez, and Carmen Gonzalez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
