Obituary of Maria Soledad Acuña

Edinburg, Texas Maria Soledad Acuña,47, entered eternal sleep Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Edinburg. Maria was born July 17, 1974 in Edinburg, Texas to Ramiro Garza and Soledad (Salazar) Garza. She was a life long resident of Edinburg. Maria attended and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa for many years. She was a devout catholic. Her strong faith in her church and God carried her in her journey through life. Maria was a 1992 graduate of Edinburg High Bobcats. She was very well known in the Auto Auction Business. She enjoyed going to the beach, spend time with her family, and enjoyed helping anybody and everybody. Maria truly lived life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her father- Ramiro Garza. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved family; Her husband Jorge Acuña, Her son-Jorge Sebastian Acuña; Her fury cat Ralph Acuña; her mother-Soledad Garza; Her Siblings- Amanda (Javier) Moreno, Ruby (Mack) Smith, Belia Calderon; Her brother- Victor Garza; Nieces and Nephews- Celeste Moreno, Amaris Moreno, Anita Crawford, Jose Manuel Salas, and Jose David Salas. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral mass will Friday, August 20, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church in Elsa at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Funeral services are being handle by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
