OFELIA MATA GARCIA
MISSION - Ofelia Mata Garcia, 69, entered eternal rest Sunday, August 8, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Esteban Reyes Gutierrez; her daughter, Modesta Reyes.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her seven children, Fabiola (Ricardo) Martinez, Matilde (Pedro) Reyes, Esteban (Delfina) Reyes, Amelia (Rolando) Reyes, Analuisa (Jesus) Reyes, Jesus (Rosario) Reyes, Elizelda (Cesar) Reyes, and Imelda (Juan) Reyes; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; six siblings, Micaela Mata, Martin Mata, Maria Mata, Guadalupe Mata, Juan Mata, and Luz Mata.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. with a 1 p.m. Chapel service, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
