JUAN P. GOMEZ
EDINBURG - Juan P. Gomez, 93, entered eternal rest Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Edinburg. Mr. Gomez was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Gomez; his parents, Pedro and Enriqueta Gomez; three siblings, Manuela Reyna, Jose, and Pablo Gomez.
Mr. Gomez is survived by his nine children, Betty Sanchez, John (Elena Lugo) Gomez Jr., Jim (Carol) Gomez, Bert Garcia, Jesse (Ann) Gomez, Leroy (Gloria) Gomez, David (Leticia) Gomez, Barbara (Christopher) Ortiz, and Viola (Gilbert) Gonzalez; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Cruz Gomez, Pedro Gomez, Leo Gomez, Guadalupe Salazar, Lile Ramirez, Virginia Gonzalez, and Pepa Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
