Obituary of Lupita B. DeLeon

Edinburg, Texas Lupita B. DeLeon,44, entered eternal rest Wednesday, July 14, 2021 surrounded by her family at the Comfort House Hospice facility in McAllen. Lupita was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on June 20, 1977 to Pablo DeLeon and Rosa (Sanchez) DeLeon. Lupita lived in Edinburg for most of her life. She loved music, enjoyed baking, Bar B Q family gatherings, working, but above everything else her son Victor was her pride and joy. Every thing Lupita did was for him. Lupita will forever be loved and remembered by her family. She was preceded in death by her father. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved family; Her Mother- Rosa DeLeon; Her Son-Victor M. Ornelas; Her Siblings- Nilda DeLeon, Pablo DeLeon Jr., and Daniel DeLeon. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Cremation services will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
