In the summer of '83, I was invited to go on a pilgrimage to Real de Catorce/Matehuala by Cha-Cha and her husband. As we got ready to go to through the Mexican inspection line; we did not know that I needed Nabor's written/notorized permission to take my child (Danny,6 months)in to Mexico. Well, Tocho and Cha-Cha told them, that we did have permission to go with them and Tocho offer him some money and we were allowed to proceed onto the bus. Well this bus was not your typical air-condition bus. The bus would stop and load people with their goods like chickens,and rooster. Cha-Cha being the woman that she was, she help me out with Danny. It was such a long trip going and coming but Cha-Cha and Tocho help me so much even though we travled at night it was a pilgrimage. After our visit to Real de Catorce, I remember lounging out by the pool and Tocho and Cha-Cha playing with Danny. I also remember walking through the plaza, smelling all the aromas of food and drinking a cold Mexican soda. Both of them made our trip very memorable. Cha-Cha, Thank You for touching my life and making me feel as part of the family.
You will be greatly missed!

Another angel in heaven to look after us. Such a loving and beautiful lady, my tia Aurora. I remember working along side her at the clothing store in Edinburg she managed when I was a teenager. Wonderfull memories! My sincere condolences. My prayers are with you.
