Obituary of Jose Raciel Juarez Ruiz

José Raciel Juárez Ruiz, age 83, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 8:41 p.m. in Alamo, TX. José Raciel was born on July 18, 1937, in La Ribera de Tampico Alto, Veracruz, Mexico. Son of Abundio Juárez Amador and Marina Ruiz Ferlicott, José Raciel lived in Reynosa, Tamaulipas and in Alamo, TX. He enjoyed working, rowing, fishing, gardening, traveling, dancing, motorcycle and bicycle riding, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. José Raciel lived life to the fullest - always with love, appreciation, honor, humility, kindness and with a noble heart. He was loved, admired and looked up to by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. José Raciel Juárez Ruiz is survived by his wife, Irma Cordova de Juárez, his 2 sons, Raciel Juarez Cordova (Cynthia Juarez) and Daniel Juárez Cordova (Angelica M Juarez) and his 5 grandchildren, Valeria Montserrat, Daniela, Paloma Natalie, José Ángel, and Raciel Imanol Juárez, including many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. till 12:00 a.m. at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and will continue on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Gathering and Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, with a service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Legacy Chapels followed by entombment from 4:30 p.m to 6:00 p.m at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N. Taylor Rd., Mission, TX, at the Mausoleum sector. Funeral services are being directed by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
