MARIA Y. GARCIA MCALLEN - Maria Y. Garcia, 69, entered eternal rest Tuesday May 18, 2021, in McAllen. Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, Enedelia Rodriguez Morado. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband, Jose Q. Garcia; four children, Victor Morado, Marco Antonio Morado, Francisca Moreno, and Sonia Mendoza; eight grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson; three siblings, Oziel Morado Covarubias, Juan Manuel Morado Covarubias, and Maria Leticia Morado Covarubias; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
