Obituary of Warren Kent Stierwalt

W. Kent Stierwalt, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 in Palmview, Texas. Kent was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 22, 1941. He was a graphic designer for RCA/Thompson Consumer Electronics for 34 years. He retired in 1998 and moved to Palmview, Texas. He enjoyed traveling in his RV with his wife before settling permanently in Palmview, Texas. He loved spending time his wife, children, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews and many friends. He also loved going to South Padre Island to set on the beach and swim in the ocean. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all. Kent is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Anna Stierwalt; 3 loving sons, Freddie Snedigar, Daren Stierwalt and Damon Stierwalt; and his loving son-in-law Bryan Payne. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Jane Ann Stierwalt; his 5 children, Rhonda (Darrell) Hynes, Teresa (Linda Rowan) Snedigar, Marsha Snedigar, Robert (Kelly) Snedigar and Barbara (Bryan, deceased) Payne, his daughter in laws, Angie Stierwalt and Tammy Stacey; 11 beautiful grandkids; 10 wonderful great grandkids, many nieces and nephews; and many great friends. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
