CONSUELO CANTU
EDINBURG - Consuelo Cantu, 73, entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in Edinburg. Mrs. Cantu was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Cantu Martinez; her parents, Manuel and Maria Antonia Ibarra; her sister, Alicia Ibarra de Rodriguez; her daughter-in-law, Norma Cantu.
Mrs. Cantu is survived by her four children, Orfelinda Cantu, Homero Cantu, Arturo Cantu, and Mario Cantu Jr.; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jose Angel Ibarra, Guadalupe Ibarra, Maria De Jesus Ibarra, and Josefina Ibarra; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
