ALFONSO SILVA
EDINBURG - Alfonso Silva, 76, entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 23, 2021, in Edinburg. Mr. Silva was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Victoria Silva; his parents, Luciano and Delfina Silva; sister, Maria Silva De Zamora.
Mr. Silva is survived by seven children, Alma (Miguel) Martinez, Yliana Gutierrez, Veronica (Manuel) Sanchez, Melissa (Mauricio) Meraz, Jose E. Silva, Christian (Jose) Acosta, and Alejandrina (Antonio) Campos; 19 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Aurora Silva de Garcia, Paula Silva de Matuz, Angelina Silva de Villarreal, Alicia Silva de Tamez, Lupita Silva de Delgado, Olga Silva de Garcia, and Omar Silva; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, March 29, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
